Hello Again! I slept wonderful again last night! So blessed!!

Mom actually slept till 7:30...she's slacking..lol... (that's 9:30 east coast time!!)

We went to breakfast at the hotel, then headed over to the facility to research my 'prescription cranial prosthetic divice'  to see what was covered by my insurance. Unfortunately, my policy won't cover my wig, but it was worth the research anyway.

I had my head shaved, It looks great!!!  I look like Pete after his brain surgery. Then I had a pedicure, it's so nice to be pampered. I'll post some pics later....lol.

I got a couple of wigs today and about 4 different hat's & head scarves. They are so much fun! Gonna have to find my best look, hopefully without the itch. :~))

Mom & Dad &, Dad's sister Joan & Bro-in-law Bill went shopping & out to lunch while I took a much needed nap, my morning pampering drained my energy.

I had my bone radiation treatment and they returned to the hotel at almost the same moment as I. Dad's on his way back to Hal`s; Mom & I will head to the facility for dinner shortly.

I've been overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, prayers and words and cards of encouragement! Thank you ALL from the bottom of my heart. Words just cannot express the thanks I have for you all.

Since Monday afternoon is my last day of bone radiation!!!!..... The 'plan' is to leave for Colorado on Tuesday, early a.m.... it's a 9 1/2 hour drive so I'm sure we'll make it fine in just one day.

Monday morning I'll have one last consult with my team of Doctors as they decide what my Chemo schedule will be. What we do know: I'm going home for Christmas. What we don't know: Can I wait til after New Years to schedule the Chemo Port?

I'm hoping to go home for two weeks; but we'll see. Again, once Chemo starts, it will only be 2 - 3 day trips; every 2 -3 weeks, depending upon my lab results.

If the weather cooperates, I'm sending the folks home through Denver so Mom can see her Aunts, Uncle & cousins if the opportunity allows. Plus, it's a shorter drive, mileage wise home. They can take their time.

I'm 'off' from any further treatment until Monday, so tomorrow, I think we're going sight seeing & Mom & Dad will go see Andy's place.

Planning on a day of visiting Sat with the family in the evening after the bell ringing is done. Plus, it's Pizza night!
