December 28, 2011 - Evening

Hello again! I feel GREAT! 

I had my chemo port placed this morning at 8:30 and was released to Uncle Hal's 'custody' before 11:00 a.m. We had lunch then had to hang out at the facility for all my follow up apts with the Dr's.

Unfortunately, my blood platelets count is too low and they won't promise chemo tomorrow. Soooo, my day starts tomorrow at 8:20 with a lab draw, then speech therapy (just in case), then a massage!!! Woo Hoo!

Then after lunch I'll meet with the oncologist to see if we can do chemo tomorrow or not. If not.... I probably won't make it home before the middle of next week due to New Years etc.
