December 19, 2011

WOW! What a L-O-N-G day! The news isn't good or pretty. Serious Pray-ers are need. Now! And thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Lab work at 8:45. Series of apts between 10 & Noon. Nap, wig fitting, and going to my last bone radiation treatment at 4:20 then out to dinner with the family one more time.

Feeling rather weak and weary today, very drained, no energy whatsoever.

I have a very serious rash from all the meds. The oncologist had planned on starting me on pill chemo when I left here for Christmas but now because of the rash, he won't. My body can't handle it. It doesn't itch or hurt but it's rather startling to look at, thankfully it's not bad on the arms & face. Don't want to scare my children.

Mom, Dad & I will leave here in the morning and drive to Grand Junction. Then I need to go to the ER and hopefully find an on-call dermatologist to see me on Wed a.m.

I have to fly back to Phoenix on Tuesday 12/27 and will have my chemo port placed on 12/28... assuming the rash has been dealt with. I MUST start on the chemo ASAP, the cancer is spreading within the lymph nodes.

Please pray that the drugs I'm now coming off of will leave my system quickly and that my drug reactions will quit... immediately. God is in control of the spread of this cancer and we know He's more powerful than any drug or doctor.

Please pray for the fastest route home with no weather or travel incidents as it's close to 600 miles. Dad can only drive so far and so fast.

Until tomorrow......
